"The Great Raid" (based on the World War II adventure book of the same name) was released on August 14, 2005 with the score for the movie released on August 16, 2005. Set in the Philippines in 1945, "The Great Raid" tells the true story of the 6th Ranger Battalion, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Mucci who undertake a daring rescue mission against all odds. Traveling thirty miles behind enemy lines, the Rangers aim to liberate over 500 American prisoners-of-war from the notorious Cabanatuan Japanese POW camp in the most audacious rescue ever.

Trevor celebrated the completion of the "Glory Road" soundtrack by distributing a bottle of fine Australian wine to each member of his orchestra. While he has worked with many different orchestras this is the sixth time he has composed and arranged a soundtrack with the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra. This film is based on the true story of Texas Western basketball coach Don Haskins leading the first all-black starting line-up for a college basketball team to the NCAA national championship.

Trevor received his eighth BMI Crystal Award for his score to "National Treasure". Presenting him the Award at the Film & Television Award dinner is BMI President and CEO, Del Bryant and BMI's VP Film & TV Relations, Doreen Ringer Ross.

“Coach Carter” was released on January 15, 2005 and was the highest opening weekend of any release from an MTV Film. The film is based on a controversial high school basketball coach who benched his undefeated team due to their collective poor academic record in 1999. Trevor's received his ninth BMI award for this movie.
