A quick word from Trevor has him scoring Get Smart with it "progressing very nicely". Recently he was in the studio producing and arranging the trailer for the movie. On top of that he played quite the handful of instruments (drums, bass, bazuki, saz and guitar) with the assistance of the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra. | Trevor completed the score for Lorne Michael's production, Hot Rod and the movie is in theaters now. This Paramount Picture stars Saturday Night Live alumnus, Andy Samberg. Samberg plays Rod Taylor as an accident-prone daredevil planning to jump the Snake River on a moped in order to win over his stepfather. As mutual fans, Trevor and the Lonely Island team are delighted to be working together. “I’m continually having fun with these guys. Akiva Schaffer came over to the studio for a few hours just yesterday as we laughed through the cues. He has a great sense of comedic genius.” Catch a preview on the Hot Rod website. Great laughs and great reviews for the soundtrack. Cool Beans. |

| Don Harper's recent release features Trevor on two tracks. Don explains Trevor's contribution: "I came up with the idea to do an Americana piece that allowed him to interact with the orchestra and yet allow him the space to do his "Trevor" thing, really not knowing what I might might expect. I sent him the orchestral tracks and let him go. When I listened to tracks (and peeled myself off the back wall of my studio) I was actually shocked at the energy in the first movement and the sensitivity in the second. Understand, the project is not particularly commercial and eclectic to say the least, but emotion of what Trevor played shocked and surprised me. Surprised because, I knew from working with him, what his rock and classical abilities where but I had no idea of the Jazz sensibilities he would bring to the composition. The back half starts off in a Kenny Burrell vibe and goes from there to...I have no idea. Who knew? I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I think he's just getting warmed up!"
