Despite the grand scale of their tour the concerts were as exciting and spontaneous as ever. The culmination was 6 sold out shows in three days at the Johannesburg Coliseum. However, the members of Rabbit were beginning to feel the pressures of new fame and power. Wherever they went, they were mobbed by adoring fans.  People close to them began to try to gain control of the band. And they began to feel the fatigue of a year’s relentless activity and extraordinarily tight schedule. When it came to recording their third album the pressure intensified. They allowed themselves the luxury and anonymity of escaping the city for a farm in the country. Amidst hundreds of acres Rabbitt set up a base 200 km from Johannesburg and began rehearsals with only cows and chickens paying heed. It was harder to work. It was easier to party. Trevor’s passionate desire to expand his musical horizons internationally ultimately caused him to leave the band. London was his next stop.
