The 9012Live tour began in Fort Meyers, Florida on January 26, 1984 and ended 139 shows later in Buenos Aires, Argentina on February 9, 1985. YES performed for over 3 million concert goers - reaching a record number of YES fans that still holds to date. Mickey Heyes was the road manager for this tour and aptly summed it all up :

"In March of 1984 this long overdue show went on the road. Aside from seeing three continents, three tour managers, one small army of Argentinian security, encountering numerous threats, one ticket office bombing, some minor bickering and moaning, one squadron of flying saucers over Denver, lots of vodka and surviving two international escapes, the tour went smoothly and without incident. In spite of, or perhaps as a result of all this, what ensued was a series of shows that delighted audiences everywhere."
